Union Public Services Commission (UPSC)
is expected to come up with some new changes in the examination current
format for the upcoming prelims and mains civil services examination 2014.
Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) |
UPSC Civil Services Examination Prelims
2014 will be on 24th August 2014 and its previous notification date was 17th
May 2014 and the last date for receipt of application will be 16th June 2014 and the Mains
exam will be conducted from 14th
December 2014 which will be completed in 3-5 days.
The notification date has been removed from the UPSC website as of now which was going to be 17th May. Now also, the exam date is same as before. Possibility is the notification would be coming only after personality test of 2013 candidates are over. There can be several reasons behind this delay like elections, new government formation, policy changes, pattern changes or just to maintain the tradition to notify after the final interview results of last year. So,we all should expect a some bit delay now.Let's wait and watch.
Although these all things are just speculations from different
sources. In current scenario, IAS aspirants are advised to concentrate on their
studies as per the current pattern only but should be ready enough to adapt for
the new conditions if the need arises.Although the possibility is less only for any changes in pattern etc in 2014 itself.
All things would be crystal clear only after official notification
comes from UPSC itself. Fingers are crossed and let's hope for the best.
